Nature As A Muse celebrates a common admiration and study of the intimate details of our Earth from a broad range of perspectives, featuring the work of 28 artists from around the world, including France, Germany, Pakistan, Portugal, the UK, and the US. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet artists and explore a wide range of artworks including paintings, sculptures, traditional prints, art books, and installations- all reflecting a shared inspiration from our Mother, Earth.

Nexus will be extending their gallery space to the great wilderness on the Habitable Campus, opening the outdoor gallery for the first time. Habitable Space’s resident artists have often installed artwork around the property in the past, so it seemed fitting to introduce an outdoor gallery space with this show. The outdoor gallery space gives artists an opportunity to expand the narrative of their artwork, including the interaction of elements and formations in a natural environment as well as the process of natural weathering and decay on an object, or even the lack of it.
