Anita Horton paints abstracted flowers and natural objects on paper.
After months of experiencing great loss, Horton moved to Austin in 2023 and began experiencing the vegetative blooming cycles of the Texas hill country.
Horton uses reference photographs and memories to construct my brightly colored compositions. Her work aims to provide viewers joy as they gaze upon her work and reflect upon beauty and hope for the future.
