Habitable Spaces received a grant from the San Antonio Area Foundation to expand our outreach to our community in need of fresh food through the Kingbury Farmer’s Market that we have set up in downtown Kingsbury. This market was set up as a response to the Covid-19 pandemic in order to provide a safe, outdoor environment within which our community can by fresh, local, organic vegetables. We have invited other area vendors to participate free of charge so that they can earn money while they are out of work because of the shut downs of many local businesses.
We are very grateful for the help that the San Antonio Area Foundation has given our community in this time of need.
The Kingsbury Farmer’s Market takes place every Sunday from noon to 3PM. If you would like to set up a booth free of charge to sell your handmade or home grown items at the Kingsbury Farmer’s market, contact us at info@habitablespaces.org
