Justin's art is about games. He invites his viewers to observe and participate in activities that parallel, intersect and clash with the rules of daily living, and to play with the boundaries between religion, culture and law. By creating novel games, markets, lifestyles, institutions and time keeping systems, his art toys with the assumptions that guide our daily interaction with civilization and each other.

During his time at Habitable Spaces, Justin will create a small business based on an abstract construct of his own invention, and will bootstrap an experimental economy for it to swim about in.
